House Bill in Congress

Please be advised your Appropriations Project Request has been filed.  The House bill number, title, and first committee of reference are as follows:

HB 3233 - A Leap of Faith Foundation – HIV/AIDS and Cancer Treatment Through Art:  Now in Health Care Appropriations Subcommittee  

You can find information on your bill by going to the My Florida House website, http://www.myfloridahouse.gov, typing in the four-digit bill number in the space provided (Bill ##) near the top of the page, and then selecting Search on the screen or Enter on your keyboard.  When you are on the page for your bill, under House Referrals, you will see the two committees to which your bill has been referred, one Appropriations Subcommittee followed by the full Appropriations Committee.  To find more information on these committees, you can click directly on the committee name and you will be redirected to the committee page where you will find the names of the House members who sit on that particular committee.  You can then click on the individual names and you will be redirected to the members’ pages where you will find all of their contact information.  We are also in the process of creating “call sheets” which will include the names of the committee members, their district office phone numbers, their Capitol office phone numbers, and their Capitol office room numbers, all on one page.  We will get this information to you as quickly as possible.

Further down the page for your bill, under Bill Text, click on Original Filed Version to see a copy of your bill.  Directly below that, under Appropriations Project Request Form, click on the Appropriations Project Request Form As Filed link to see the final copy of the form that was filed.  No substantive changes were made to your original request; however, in some cases, committee staff made minor but necessary changes such as a title change or a change in the state agency responsible for administering the funds.
